About Hanbit Chi, DDS

Hanbit Chi, DDS, is a general dentist at Rainier Dental, providing comprehensive dental care to people in Bonney Lake, Puyallup, Sumner, and Tacoma, Washington.

Dr. Chi has always been passionate about helping others. Before pursuing a career in dentistry, he spent several years as a pharmacist, educating people about how to take prescription medications and nutritional supplements safely. 

Dr. Chi studied at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. He excelled in the program, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery. 

At Rainier Dental, Dr. Chi provides various general dentistry services, including teeth cleanings, oral exams, dental restorations, and oral surgery. His compassionate chairside manner and friendly demeanor have helped Dr. Chi establish a stellar reputation.

Dr. Chi loves sharing his dental skills with underprivileged communities outside of work. He’s completed dental mission trips to several countries, including the Philippines, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Uganda. Dr. Chi also volunteers in Southern California, routinely participating in free dental clinics and serving at local food banks.
