WELCOME DR. HAKEEM

Dr. Hakeem received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Afterwards, she continued to advance her education by completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. There, she gained invaluable experience treating the dental needs for patients with complex medical histories and cognitive impairments. In addition, she gained advanced training with endodontics and dental extractions. After getting married, she relocated to the beautiful Pacific Northwest where she now proudly serves as a general dentist at Rainier Dental-Tacoma. Dr. Hakeem enjoys the versatility of general dentistry and is an active participant in multiple continuing education classes throughout the year. She is passionate about providing personalized, high quality dental work in a gentle environment; and strives to eliminate the fearful stigma associated with dentistry.

Dr. Hakeem is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle King County Dental Society. She is also Invisalign Certified.
