PERIODONTIST

Dr. Mosquera was born in Colombia, South America. She obtained her DDS from Escuela Colombiana de Medicina. She decided to move to United States to continue her education, this time in Periodontics. She graduated from Saint Louis University (Missouri) with a certificate and Masters in Periodontics. She had the fortune to train with Dr. Nolen Levine (a pioneer on implant dentistry in USA) in Chicago for two years. Dr. Mosquera moved to Washington where she enjoys practicing periodontics. She specializes in the treatment of severe gum disease, periodontal plastic surgery, regenerative procedures (augmentation of bone), oral medicine and implantology.
